Daisy

I absolutely love Brand New’s album cover for “Daisy.” I’m sure somebody that isn’t even a fan would pick it up and consider buying it without ever previewing any of their music. I don’t know if a cover can be described as “catchy,” but this one is.

At the moment I’m trying to decide if I like it (the music) or not. I just listened to “In A Jar” and loved it. So far, so good.

    My favorite songs on the record are “You Stole” and “Gasoline”. I think Jesse sounds better than he ever has before, especially his screaming. (I tend to like records that aren’t so polished off.)

      I’ve decided that I don’t like Daisy as much as I thought I would. I like a few tracks, but they aren’t as…raw…as they were with their older music.
