Last few days (very late, I might add)

30.) Your favorite song at this time last year.

“I Am Not A Robot” by Marina & The Diamonds. (I still love it!)

29.) A song from your childhood.

It’s “Bananas in Pyjamas” by Big Blue Dog Players.  I can’t find a good one online.

28.) A song that makes you feel guilty…

Ah! Here’s why I didn’t continue the countdown! What song would possibly make me feel guilty?

27.) A song that you wish you could play.

“Banana Pancakes” by Jack Johnson. Guitar would have been a great thing to learn.

26.) A song you can play on an instrument.

The “Pirates” theme. On flute/piccolo. Gimme music and let me play.

Day 13

13.) A song that is a guilty pleasure.

I listen to just about everything, but I especially like music that is catchy. Guilty pleasures include work from Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber and Jesse McCartney. The most recent one, however, is “You Da One” by Rihanna. It’s so catchy and I can’t stop listening to it. (Her entire Talk That Talk album is catchy.)

And, for the record, this is my first time watching the music video (I’m not a big fan of music videos).

Day 7

7.) A song that reminds you of a certain event.

“M79” by Vampire Weekend.

Jordan picked me up from school one day in his little red and blue Ford Ranger. College introduced him to a whole bunch of new music, and he eagerly shared it with me (I’m assuming it was eagerness…he’s hard to read sometimes). He played this song and another (“Wasted” by Cartel) and tapped along on the steering wheel. I can still smell the Ford Ranger and see the roads passing.

Day 6

6.) A song that reminds you of somewhere.

Sounds cheesy, but it’s “Somewhere Only We Know” by Keane.

They played this song during my brother’s candlelight vigil before his graduation from St. Bonaventure University. I can still see Jordan and his friends, walking down the sidewalk toward Plassmann with their candles, whenever I hear this song.
